Berean Independent School

Berean Independent School is a full-service umbrella program.

Services include:

• Record keeping for homeschool families; satisfies compulsory school attendance requirements
• Access to Transcript help
• Access to Evaluation, Curriculum Coaching, and advice
• Access to Events and Activities
• Access to Graduation Ceremony
• Being a part of the Berean family!

Note: Do not select the Berean Independent School option if you are participating in a publicly funded enrichment program (in which case you file an NOI – Notice of Intent to Homeschool). If you are participating in a publicly funded program, select the Berean Community option.

Requirements:

(The requirements listed below DO NOT apply to Community families)

1. I will keep attendance – min 688 hours and 172 days (a Google Doc for Attendance will be shared with you). 
2. I will do the the required testing in Testing Years (Grades 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11). This can be a Standardized test or an Evaluation.

Berean Community Option

Services include:

• Access to Transcript help
• Access to Evaluation, Curriculum Coaching, and advice
• Access to Events and Activities
• Access to Graduation Ceremony
• Being a part of the Berean family!

Note: The Berean Community Option does not include record keeping. If you select the Community option you will need to be registered with another Umbrella School or file an NOI – Notice of Intent to Homeschool.

Pricing:

• Umbrella Program: $80/family/year
• Community Option: $60/family/year
• Transcript (online): $275/transcript
• Transcript Update (online): $120/update
• Curriculum Consult (online): $65/consult (1 hour)
• Evaluation (online): $200/student
• Graduation Ceremony (in-person/online): $100/student
• Mileage for in-person: $40

Note: For Transcripts/Transcript Updates & Graduation Ceremony, families must be enrolled in either the Berean Independent School or Berean Community option. Services besides these are available to non-member families as well.

Schedule an Evaluation Today

An evaluation is $200 per student and takes about 3 hours (about 4 hours for multiple students). An Evaluation is not timed and will assess student skills in reading, spelling and math (as an alternative to a Standardized Test for testing years: grades 3, 5, 7, 9, 11).
